At a
glance.. The Anson County School System has
approximately 660 employees and 4,432 students. The system is made up of six elementary
schools, one middle school, one high school, and one alternative school. Of these nine facilities, eight are either
new or significantly renovated structures.
Technology is an important part of instruction. As a result, the Anson County School System
is committed to the ongoing expansion and improvement of these
resources. Currently, we have seven
local area networks and are working towards a wide area network. Anson County hopes to have access to a high speed internet
connection soon.

referendum that resulted in five new elementary schools.
